Following the recent problems with British Airways, Easyjet and the collapse of more online Tour Operators, Globespan, Argo, Libra and Jetlife ... Questions must now start to be asked as to whether booking online is really worth it.

Do you really know all you should about the Travel Company you are booking with?

70% of people who booked with Scottish operator Globespan will not get a single penny of their money back, and the rest are relying on their Credit Card Companies to pay them back.

60% of people who booked with British Airways did so outside of any ATOL Protection as they had not booked a package with an agent.  This means that the people affected by any potential strike by BA Staff had NO Financial Protection for any other holiday products that they have bought  - i.e. if the BA customer has paid £2000.00 for a hotel and cannot get there, then the hotel does not have to refund a single penny to the customer. The same goes for Car Hire, Ski Passes, Attraction Tickets etc. etc. This is a crazy situation for the public to put themselves in given the minimal savings made.

If the public booked their BA Holiday under ATOL , then the WHOLE holiday would been protected, and 100% of their money would be safe!!
