Fushi Café

Greet the Maldivian morning sunrise, at the Fushi Café on the white sandy beach of Dhigu Island. Enjoy informal dining at leisure, including American breakfast buffets and themed Maldivian dinner buffets set to the tune of the Bodhu Beru band.

Fuddan Fusion Grill

Sample the freshest seafood scooped straight from the ocean or feast on imported steaks at this lively fusion grill. Prime aged imported cuts from Japan and Australia. Maldivian prawns, Wahoo and lobster. Facing the inner turquoise reef of Dhigu, the grill offers plentiful ways to enjoy top cuisine. Flame grilled, tandoori, wok sautéed, fired in a wood oven. Tell us how you like it prepared or ask for our suggestions.

Terrazzo

Italy comes to the tropics in this intimate Italian bistro. Perched high overlooking the Indian Ocean on Dhigu Island, Terrazzo specialises in Italian cuisine, fashioned by chefs who are experts with traditional ingredients and techniques. Savour wood-fired pizzas, homemade pastas or our signature seafood spread, accompanied by wines from the northern and southern regions of Italy. Tuscan, Roman and Milanese selections, all enjoyed with sweeping views across the reef.

Aqua

Located poolside on Dhigu, Aqua provides relaxed poolside refreshment and a stylish snack menu. Alternatively, swim up to the bar and create your own cocktail from our innovative recipes. Early evening ushers in the picturesque Indian Ocean sunsets whilst you savour a drink in our upper lounge.

Baan Huraa  (At Anantara Veli)

Inspired Thai cuisine comes to the sublime beauty of a teak house over-water. Set on stilts above the Dhigufinolhu lagoon, the house opens to sweeping views across the Indian Ocean. With internationally-acclaimed Thai chefs, Baan Huraa offers a unique dining experience of authentic flavours of the Orient. Savour dishes made from the freshest ingredients from the Northern and humid Southern provinces of Thailand.

73 Degrees  (At Anantara Veli)

The light and airy Maldivian-style thatched-roof pavilion faces the lagoon of Veligandu Huraa. Dine at the sumptuous breakfast buffet of fresh tropical fruits and juices, cereals, homemade breads, grilled meats and vegetables and a made-to-order omelette station. Or select seafood plucked right from the Maldives at the Seafood Market.

Dhoni  (At Anantara Veli)

Kick back by the tranquil lagoon of Veligandu Huraa. Swim up to the poolside bar and savour cocktails and chill vibes. Settle into the infinity-edge pool and glance at the seascape as you unwind with other guests.

Geckos (At Anantara Veli)

Enjoy freshly-baked crusts and piled high toppings from our wood-fired oven. You've found your perfect spot for inventive pizza and light snacks overlooking the lagoon at Veligandu Huraa. Dine al fresco on the deck or in the thatched roof pavilion.  Sit back or try a game of pool, steps away from the free-standing bar. This could become your hang out.

Dhoni Kids Club

Open for children from the ages of 3 to 12, the Dhoni kids club keeps our youngest guests entertained during their holidays with an action-packed programme featuring a variety of beach and outdoor activities, creative crafts and games that are fun, educational and culturally enriching. All are under the supervision of our Kids' Coordinator. Children aged three or under are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Childcare services are available for a fee.

Swimming

Slide into the tranquil waters of our stunning freshwater infinity-edge pool situated right on the beach's edge. Gaze out across the expanse of an aquamarine sea as you float, soak or splash your worries away. Protected by outer reefs, the shallow waters of our large lagoon offers an ideal spot for wading, floating or a relaxed swim.

Tennis

Our floodlit tennis courts mean that you can continue with a doubles match even after the sun sets. Our fitness centre staff are at hand to provide lessons for beginners or a little bit of a challenge if you're looking for a partner. 

Volleyball & Badminton

Feeling waterlogged? Landlubbers can always take part in a pick-up match of volleyball or badminton on the beach - just let us know and we'll provide the nets and equipment and turn a strip of beach into your court.

Aquafanatics Diving Centre

Discover a new world. While Anantara certainly looks splendid from above the water, in the Maldives, you'll find some of the most beautiful sights are found below the surface. Envelop yourself in a panorama of spectacular marine views on a full-day dive safari guided by the experts from Anantara's own PADI 5* Dive Centre. If you're a first-timer, get your feet wet first with one of our PADI certification courses that will guide you toward taking your first breaths underwater, opening up a whole new world for your discovery. Or, simply snorkel leisurely on the edge of the lagoon or peruse the Maldives' fabled coral gardens on our daily guided snorkelling trips.

The Anantara Dive Centre offers two boat dives a day to over 20 nearby reefs teeming with undersea life in the area immediately surrounding our islands. In addition, the Centre runs full and half-day "safari dives" to reefs and sites further offshore.  

PADI Diving Courses

With such a variety of sites on offer, and our full range of PADI certification courses, our guests are spoiled with choice to meet the needs of all diving levels - from beginners to avid divers with full logbooks! Anantara's instructors always endeavour to match up diving ability to local dive conditions to ensure your safety and enjoyment. From our beginner's discovery courses to more advanced Nitrox, deep water and rescue dives, the Centre has a range of programmes to suit even the most experienced divers.

All courses are taught by PADI-certified instructors, ensuring an unforgettable - and safe - learning experience in one of the world's premier diving destinations. Our class sizes are limited to cater for each guest's needs. Our friendly and professional staff, along with the excellent facilities and open-air classroom of our Indian Ocean paradise, provide the perfect surroundings to explore safely and comfortably.

Orientation Dives

All divers at the Anantara Dive Centre require an orientation dive, unless you have logged a dive within the last three months in Maldives. The orientation dive consists of a dive on our nearby house reef or another local dive site, with an instructor who will get you to demonstrate basic diving skills. After completion, you're ready to move on to more advanced dives or courses, depending on your level and certifications.

Full and Half-Day Diving Safaris

Once you've explored some of our beautiful and action-packed local dive sites, taking in stunning sea fans, colourful coral, schools of fusiliers, sea turtles, and even the occasional reef shark or spotted eagle rays, it's time to take to the high seas for a full or half-day diving safari! The Dive Centre offers regularly scheduled diving safaris by speedboat to a number of exciting locations in North or South Malé Atoll or Felidhu Atoll. Or, feel free to talk to our guides and instructors about setting up a privately chartered excursion just for you!
