PRESIDENTIAL VILLA

This unique Villa within an exclusive location comprises of 2 ground floor rooms and first master bedroom as well as a living & dining room and a kitchen which guarantees complete privacy. With its private pool and spacious veranda, the Presidential Villa offers 650 m2 of living, and exterior exclusive space in a peaceful location far from main hotel building. Two Villa masters are permanently one hand to cater for the guests needs during their stay.

VILLAS WITH PRIVATE POOL

The villas at Belle Mare Plage The Resort are the embodiment of a new art of living. The 20 Villas of 375 to 525 sq.m (with 2 to 3 bedrooms) evoke feelings of romance and timelessness. With a lounge and outside relaxing area overlooking your private pool, the Villas offer a layout and a living space that cannot be equalled. The restauration within the villas are personalised thanks to the Villa Master. The landscaping surrounding the Villas is enhanced by small lakes, frangipani and coconut groves.

DELUXE SUITES

Our 6 ocean view Deluxe Suites are all located in the south wing. Every Deluxe Suite has a separate living room and has an optional feature of being connected to a Prestige room, which is suitable for families.

JUNIOR SUITES

The 137 newly built Junior Suites (41 Beachfront) are nestled in the north wing of the Resort. Its bedroom with exclusive decor provides a unique accommodation experience. A private and furnished balcony or terrace will tend to retain you in your suite. Ground floor and first floor inter leading Junior Suites are available as well as 2 Junior Suites that cater for disabled guests.

PRESTIGE ROOMS

Distributed on 3 levels (Ground Floor, First Floor and Second Floor), the 92 sea facing prestige rooms are located in the south wing of the resort. Each room has access to a private balcony and some directly overlook the swimming pool. Its area provides enough comfortable space to accommodate a maximum of 3 persons. Interconnecting prestige rooms are available for families.

All rooms and suites are comfortably furnished in a modern wood & marble style, featuring a terrace / balcony, a sitting area, air conditioning, bathroom comprising of separate shower/bath/wc, double vanities, hair-dryer, TV with DVD (Villas only), Satellite TV channels, music channels, Wii, free high speed ADSL internet connection, minibar, individual safe, room service 24/24 hrs.

A fully qualified Villa Master is appointed to each villa. All aspects of service are personalised inorder to anticipate your needs. The Villa Master will protect your privacy and remain at your disposal from the day of your arrival to your departure.

Restaurants & Bars

LA CITRONNELLE - BUFFET

The main restaurant, La Citronnelle, (350 seats) overlooks the beach and the pool and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in buffet style. Each night the restaurant offers a themed buffet: tropical and Italian, grills and seafood with a hint of flavours from the Mauritian terroir. With its limited number of tables within nicely partitioned areas, La Citronnelle is a guarantee for intimacy. The kids corner supervised by our hostesses offers a separate buffet.

BLUE PENNY CAFE - GASTRONOMIC CUISINE

The Blue Penny Café at Constance Belle Mare Plage is a unique restaurant which offers a broad menu of incomparable cosmopolitan flavours in an exclusive and enchanting environment. This restaurant is tucked under cascading waterfalls, with water rippling at the eye level of guests. The wine cellar as well as the cigar cabinet contribute to create a particular atmosphere of colours and fragrances.

LA SPIAGGIA - MEDITERRANEAN CUISINE

Situated in a private corner bordering the beach near the Villas, La Spiaggia restaurant (60 seats) offers a gastronomic cuisine. The Spiaggia’s Chef invites you to experience his most refined dishes blending italian cuisine and fresh local products.

DEER HUNTER - TROPICAL CUISINE

The Deer Hunter restaurant (80 seats) is located at the Legend golf clubhouse and offers a superb view on the greens and fairways of the 9th, 15th and 18th holes. It is open for breakfast, lunch and à la carte dinner. The Chef offers exclusive European cuisine combined with Mauritian flavours, in a fine dining ambiance.

A half-board menu is also available every day for dinner . Reservations are required due to limited capacity. Continental breakfast buffet is also available for early golfers.

THE SWING - SNACKS AND SALADS

Situated at the Links Golf Club, the restaurant The Swing overlooks the magnificent golfcourse. Open for lunch only, it offers a selection of sandwiches and salads.

INDIGO BEACH - SEAFOOD AND SNACKS

Beachside restaurant (80 seats), open only for lunch and for special thematic evenings (lobster night, …). The Indigo Beach is perfectly situated at the water's edge, offering a splendid view on the lagoon. Ordering your food and drinks without leaving your beach chair is possible.

LA KAZE - SALAD BAR AND GRILL

Beach restaurant, situated near the Prestige rooms, La Kaze serves a variety of snacks, salads, sandwiches, grilled dishes, pizzas and light meals. Afternoon tea and pancakes are available.

Bars:

COCKTAIL BAR

Located in the main building, the Cocktail Bar – the main bar - is an ideal meeting point for hotel guests both during daytime and in the evening. Live entertainment is proposed every evening.

DEER HUNTER BAR

Located at the Legend clubhouse, the Deer Hunter Bar overlooks hole no. 18 and, if you are lucky, you will experience a fabulous scene of Java deers coming to quench their thirst by the pond inside the greens. It is also a meeting point for golfers.

THE SPIAGGIA BAR

Beachside bar set on a wooden deck. The ultimate rendezvous for cocktail lovers.

INDIGO BEACH BAR

Next to the beach, the ultimate meeting point for beach lovers. Enjoy your drinks in a relax and cool atmosphere.

GOLFING

The Legend

'The Legend', the first of its kind in Mauritius, designed by South African champion, Hugh Baiocchi, is the crowning achievement of Constance Belle Mare Plage, located along one of the most superb beaches on the island. Each of the 18 holes has distinctive characteristics. Superb fairways are laid in the heart of an indigenous forest, culminating in brand new greens, built to USPGA specifications. In our constant effort to provide the perfect golfing location, all 18 greens have been rebuilt using Tif Dwarf grasses to ensure a perfect surface. Time has also been taken to enhance the natural beauty of a site originally used to breed deer. Teeing off from the 17th hole (par 3) is a feast for the eyes and a test for the nerves.

The Links Golf

The second Constance Belle Mare Plage Championship Golf Course, designed by Rodney Wright and Peter Allis opened in November 2002. This 18-hole Links course was conceived as a result of the success and demands encountered by Hotels Constance's first course, 'The Legend'. Sitting beneath the clubhouse which faces the setting sun, the course measures 5,942 m and has a par of 71. Equipped with a practice fairway, this 18-hole course is set in a location which seems to have been naturally created for the purpose.
