We were very privileged to attend the wedding of some friends who got married at Sandals Grande Riviera in Jamaica.
They haven't stopped talking about it since! They were particularly pleased with their wedding co-ordinator who was with them every step of the way (maybe not EVERY step). She helped them chose a location for their ceremony that was just beautiful - a quiet, flower-drenched gazebo raised up on the hillside with a completely flawless view of the sea.
The vicar who performed the ceremony was very warm and supportive. He made us all smile and the happy couple will never forget him!
Their wedding was the 'Beautiful Beginnings' theme which comes free as part of your stay at Sandals or Beaches resorts. The only additional cost is a local government tax*. The photographer was very good and made sure to get the very best shots of the ceremony plus some extra setups around the grounds - the cost of the prints was a little high, so be prepared to buy just a few extras and be sure to invite guests with photography skills.

The Beautiful Beginnings wedding theme is free if you are staying for 6 nights or more. Government and documentation fees are an additional cost; Jamaica $94.64, Bahamas $205, St. Lucia $269.40, Antigua $288, Turks & Caicos $400 (all in US Dollars). If you're staying for less than 6 nights a flat fee of $750 USD covers the theme, document and government admin.
