friendship-bay-07 The spectacular views overlooking the Grenadines and Mustique are breathtaking. Isolated enough to remain relatively unspoiled, yet lively enough to be stimulating and entertaining.

The island is encircled by gold-sand beaches, many of which disappear into coves, excellent for sailing, scuba diving and snorkelling. The centre of the island is hilly and forested, providing a dramatic backdrop to the bays and beaches. Admiralty Bay, the island's natural harbour, is a favourite anchoring spot for yachtsmen from all over the world.

The ambience is relaxed and the concept is true barefoot luxury. It is not for everyone and does not cater those who wish to dress up in a black tie and evening gown for cocktail parties. Elegant casual dress and barefoot is fine wherever you are. All the rooms and suites are individually designed with beautiful views so that they can indeed be described as the best of the best.

Bequia is the largest of the St Vincent Grenadines measuring 7 sq miles.

Friendship Bay is a short ride from town, and it is a long, wide sweep of beach, with excellent conditions for diving, sailing and snorkelling.

Direct flight to Barbados and then a connection directly to Bequia or fly to St. Vincent and take a ferry to Bequia.

50 minutes by air from Barbados.

The rooms are well appointed and have magnificent views from the balcony or terrace.

The Restaurant offers excellent local cuisine with a European flair and the dining experience is made even more special as you overlook the crystal waters of Friendship Bay.

18-hole golf course is located in Canouan 10 minutes from Bequia; the resort provides transportation for additional cost.
