The ambience of this unspoilt exclusive enclave surrounded by 12 acres of Tropical Gardens is of peace and tranquillity. There is a freshness of life here, woven with Caribbean magic, for the holiday you deserve.
Rawlins is on the quiet, northern end of the island perched on the foothills of Mount Liamuiga. From Basseterre or the airport take the coast road and travel west for about 16miles (25mins).
Note: Not on the beach
Rawlins 12 guest rooms are in cottages scattered throughout the plantation grounds. They have mahogany floors, white or stone walls and are decorated with colourful Caribbean fabrics. All rooms have antique furniture, comfortable beds and ceiling fans. The en-suite bathrooms have bath-tubs with shower.
Each cottage has its own private veranda catching cool breezes and offering spectacular views. Rooms are replenished daily with fresh flowers, natural spring water and organic fruits from the grounds.
The cooking at Rawlins is highly regarded on the island. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner every day. Lunch is a Caribbean buffet with over 10 dishes, while dinner is a more formal 4 course meal of international and Caribbean dishes.
Dine on freshly caught lobster or mahi mahi from Dieppe Bay with organic vegetables and fruits from Rawlins grounds.

Activities
Activities include a grass tennis court, a spring fed swimming pool, croquet on the lawn and trips to the rainforest. For those who simply wish to relax there is a library of favourite books, tea by the pool or simply sitting on the veranda with a rum punch absorbing the sweet serenity of the old Caribbean.
More strenuous island activities are scuba diving, sailing, golf, cricket and open air carnivals and concerts.
