Sleeping peacefully off the northern coast are a string of coral islands that are to nature what poetry is to language. Cayo Santa Maria and Cayo Ensenachos are the crown jewels in this string of precious gems. It is the first and will be the only construction in this smallest virgin Cayo Ensenachos; an old aboriginal establishment and refuge of 22 endemic species of the Cuban flora and 39 of Cuba’s fauna. The water, which is clear, warm and calm for swimming, is a great painter's palette of every shade and hue of blue; these are the beaches from which all others are painted.

Royal Spa section

The Royal Spa section consists of 190 luxurious rooms in 10 two-story bungalows built around a central courtyard. 50 King-size bed rooms and 140 double bed rooms (including 10 Duplex 2-story suites). The lovely state-of- the- art Spa has a complete range of luxury Spa treatments including a lap pool, top notch fitness gym, sauna, jacuzzi, and beauty salon.

Royal Hideaway Section

The Royal Hideaway section consists of 270 luxurious rooms in 14 two-story bungalows built around a central courtyard. 219 King-size bed rooms and 51 double bed rooms (including 10 Duplex 2-story suites and 5 rooms specially adapted for the disabled). Duplex suites are two-storied with bedroom, living room, terrace or balcony.

Royal Suites Villa Section

The Royal Suites Villa section consists of 46 luxurious units in 23 garden villa bungalows. (32 one-bedroom, 14 two-bedroom units). Each villa has a full bathroom with jacuzzi bathtub, terrace or balcony. This section offers private check-in, exclusive free-form pool with swim up bar, butler service in your villa, exclusive “Royal Club Gourmet Restaurant”, and golf cart and shuttle car transportation to Main Building.

Either Royal Spa, Royal Hideaway and Royal Suites Villa section may also be closed during low season for maintenance and depending on number of guests. “Royal Club Gourmet Restaurant” is open for Royal Suites Villa guests only.

Entertainment

In the evening after dinner everyone goes to the Lobby where there is either entertainment in the Main Lobby or in the Auditorium. The Host of the evening show my husband swears looks like a young Michael Buffer and he tried unsuccessfully to get him to say ... “Are you ready to rumble”.

The Lobby Bar is the happening place and if you want to continue to party there is a Disco which was lots of fun. The Cigar bar serves 14 to 20 year old rums at night but don’t ask her to add Coke, she won’t do it and is insulted. I swear I was not the one that asked. Their international alcohol selection is extensive.
